Therapeutic needs vary from person to person and from day to day. Our professionally trained therapists use a combination of methods based on your current needs.

It is a full-body therapy for the prevention and correction of crippling conditions, and is said to be helpful in more than 50 health conditions. Swedish massage can be very beneficial to helping your muscles relax and heal.

Sports massage was developed to help athletes prepare their bodies for optimal performance, recover after a big event, or function well during training. Sports massage emphasizes prevention and healing of injuries to the muscles and tendons. You don't have to be an athlete to benefit from sports massage. Sports massage is also good for people with injuries, chronic pain or restricted range of motion.

This technique targets soft tissue. If your soft tissue is in a state of dysfunction then myofascial release is a great way to restore it. The goal of myofascial release is to rehab the tissue by utilizing different patterns of strain. Most often, the strain, or pressure, is prolonged and applied in a particular direction until the tissue softens and becomes relaxed. Once relaxed, the muscle can rebuild itself in a proper manner.

Reflexology is the application of pressure to areas on the feet, hands and ears. Reflexology is generally relaxing and may be an effective way to alleviate stress.

The theory behind reflexology is that these areas correspond to organs and systems of the body. Proponents believe that pressure applied to these areas affects the organs and benefits the person's health.

Deep tissue massage uses firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles). It's used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle  tightness, and sore shoulders.

This is not a form of Swedish massage as much as it is a form of pressure point therapy. In this type of therapy, pressure will be applied to different trigger points in an effort to stop pain signals that travel to the spinal cord. These “knots”, as they are called, will be eliminated and as such, nerve activity in these types of tissues is reduced because toxins and irritants are moved out of those receptor sites. Very effective, and provides almost instant relief.

Thai massage is an ancient healing system that combines broad and targeted acupressure, stimulation and manipulation of energy lines called sen, and assisted yoga postures. Treatment effects are enhanced when the patient is fully relaxed and breathing deeply.

Corrective exercise is the use of movements and/or postures to produce desirable changes in movement strategies, thereby minimizing or eliminating compensation and producing efficient movement patterns.
